Come see what Dr. Tara

can do for you today!

Dr. Tara Caberwal PT, DSc, COMT, MTC, OCS

Tara has been a practicing Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) in North Carolina for over a decade. She has spent the majority of her career as a civilian contractor on Fort Bragg working with elite athletes and service members for US Army Special Forces as a part of the THOR3 program. As a key facilitator in utilizing regenerative medicine treatment options for Special Forces soldiers, she gained a unique skill set in treating and preventing injury. Additionally, she serves as adjunct teaching faculty for Campbell University’s Physical Therapy program. She prides herself in the connections she makes with her clients. When you join Elite Physio you are not just a patient, you’re family.

Outside the Clinic...

When she isn’t helping her clients Tara can be found spending time with her family in Whispering Pines. Her husband is an active duty service member, stationed on Ft. Bragg, and you'll see them running around the streets of Whispering Pines. Her two children are super active, so she is often chasing them (and their pup) around on weekends, cheering them on at lacrosse matches or on the baseball field. The family enjoys frequent trips to the beaches of North Carolina (or in St Augustine Florida, where she completed her physical therapy degree). Over the years she has been involved in many charitable military organizations. Recently she has been most involved in the Duskin Stephens foundation; ask her about Beef and Beer

Why you'll trust her...

Often physical therapy services are provided based on what an insurance company dictates is best for the patient. The majority of Tara’s career has been in the military, which means that she has had the freedom to put her patients first and determine the best treatment plan without bias from an insurance company. At Elite Physio she intends to bring this same patient centered approach to the ‘civilian’ world, and wants to work for YOU, not the insurance company. Tara is passionate and dedicated to taking care of active families, from the weekend soccer player to the ultra marathon runner, she wants to help keep all family members as healthy as possible. When you join Elite Physio you are not just a patient, you're family.
